Special Orders

Meters are stocked in the sizes listed on the data sheets. Please indicate if you need any of the following:

• Calibration for pipe weights other than Type L copper, Sch. 40 steel, or DN medium weight series.
• Milliamp scaling other than the CDI standard ranges
• Display units other than scfm
• Weather-resistant, averaging display, or serial-communication options

Changes to display units are made at no charge and normally do not delay shipping. Other modifications carry a nominal charge and may delay shipping for one to two days.

Shipping and Handling

Prices are EXW Woburn, Massachusetts. Orders by UPS, TNT and Fed Ex air services normally receive same-day pickup. Unless requested otherwise, domestic orders are normally shipped by UPS, and orders outside of North America are normally shipped by TNT. Customers may specify that shipping charges will be added to their own shipping accounts. At the customer’s option, orders will be quoted for the goods only or for the goods plus shipping. Duties, taxes and brokerage fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

Payment Terms

Normal terms for domestic orders are Net 30 on approved credit. On international orders, payment is in advance by wire transfer. CDI also accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

Limitations on Use

CDI Products are not for use in flammable, explosive or otherwise hazardous areas. They are not to be used in applications where their failure could result in injury or in significant property damage. They are not to be used as a sole means of sizing compressors or other equipment. Please refer to the data sheets for other cautions and limitations.

Returns

Any items returned for credit must be clean, in re-sellable condition, in their original packaging and must not have been installed. Before returning any item, call for an RMA number; no returns will be accepted without RMA numbers. Full credit will be given for items returned within 30 days of purchase in unopened packaging. Items returned after that period, or in packaging that has been opened, will be subject to a 15-percent restocking charge.
We will not accept returns after 90 days of sale.

Warranty

CDI warrants solely to the buyer that its products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, when given normal, proper and intended usage, for three years from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, CDI will repair or replace (at its option) any defective product at no cost to the buyer. The foregoing warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, written or oral (including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). CDI’s liability arising out of the manufacture, sale or supplying of the flow meter, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or otherwise, shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by the buyer, and in no event shall CDI be liable to anyone for special, incidental or consequential damages.
