How much do your flowmeters cost?
Our standard flowmeters cost between $625-$3,385. You can find our price list here.
Do your meters come with a drill guide?
Because our 5000-DG drill guide can be reused, and some customers have access to machine shops to properly machine the necessary holes, nearly all of our meters are sold without a drill guide. The exceptions to this are our 5250 and 5450 hot-tap meters, which come with their own specific drill guide.
You can find more information about our drill guide here.
Do your meters need to be recalibrated?
Can I use my flowmeter on a different pipe size?
Generally, no. Because our flowmeters are sized for a specific outside diameter, you could not take a meter made for 2″ steel and adapt it to a 1.5″ steel pipe, nor can we simply swap out the meter’s rings. However, if you have two different pipes with the same outside diameter (e.g. 2″ schedule 40 and 2″ schedule 10), the meter can be adjusted to account for the difference in inside diameter. We can make this adjustment at the factory or, if you have a Rev. 3 flowmeter, you can make it with a configuration cable.
Does your meter come with a power supply? Can I use my own?
All of our flowmeters come standard with a 24Vdc wall-plug power supply and extension cable. You can find more information about this power supply here.
All of our meters have terminal blocks inside the enclosure that allow customers to hardwire 24Vdc directly to the meter if a wall-plug power supply is not suitable.
Can I record data from your flowmeter?
Yes. All of our flowmeters come standard with a 4-20mA output and a pulse output. Wired Serial Communication and our Memory Option are available as options as well.”
What is the lead time for your products?
We keep a large inventory of meters so that we can fill and ship most orders the same day. With a few exceptions, meters that are not in stock typically take a few days to ship.
